APP-EARANCE

“App-earance”is a simple extension that wants to investigate, in a critical way, the relevance of colours, fonts, styles included inside the wide visual communication domain. The final purpose of the plug-in is to show how these graphic characteristics play a key role in explaining the brand identity. In this direction we managed to leave all the contents of our reference site “Bio Suisse” as they are, and only changing the aesthetic traits, trying to give to the Bio, green, clean look a completely different visual identity. We managed to achieve 3 different looks (Danger/Pay attention, Techno/Acid, Utopia/Pop) which visual elements are distinctive and known worldwide. One of the main reference for this project was the artistic work of Erwin Wurm that inspired us to make substantial aestethic changes without changing the main function of the object, in his case, the cars. Will the mission of the website be the same? Can we still identify it as a “Bio website”?

Simply Easy Learning Biological: A clean, confident approach that use mainly the green color and its shades to reference nature and the semplicity that release.
Simply Easy Learning Danger/Pay attention: Worldwide used communication that implies, usually, the yellow and red colors that are, for human beings, the first colors we see in the color spectrum due to their wavelenght.
Simply Easy Learning Acid: A stronger visual language based on high conflicting colors, geometric "scifi" fonts and a general futuristic look.
Simply Easy Learning Utopia: For a softer kind of look, this style merge differents color without being too strong, the blending between the colors and the fonts make this look a proper in-between line.
